The ‘Does what it says on the tin approach’ (the ProRep way) was adopted so no cliche phrases were used within this leaflet. Just punchy facts about the nutritional benefits to tortoises were used to the keepers as this type of marketing tends to work best with this particular target audience. They respect and appreciate honest advertising. Some cross advertising was also used at the end to highlight other product within the range that could benefit the same target audience. This leaflet was graphically laid out in Adobe In Design with all imagery edited in Photoshop. Icons were also created in Photoshop and the main tortoise image was also created at our in-house photographic studio by myself using a Canon 600D Digital SLR camera. These elements were all combined to create a print-ready PDF, in CMYK colour format, with all text outlined including crop marks and 3mm bleed as is preferred by this particular printer. It was then printed in Germany.
